Gaijin Residents is a free research tool. We collect as little as possible.

Deadline tracker

Your tracker choices (life event, date, checked items) are saved only in your own browser's local storage. They are never sent to us.

What we collect: only your email address, plus whether you are subscribed.
Double opt-in: when you sign up we send one confirmation email. You are not added to the list unless you click the confirmation link (valid 7 days).
Who processes it: emails and the subscriber list are handled by our email provider, Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). The signup form is processed by Cloudflare Pages Functions (Cloudflare, Inc.). Data may be processed outside Japan.
What we use it for: sending the Gaijin Residents newsletter (new programs and deadline reminders). We do not sell or share your address, and we don't use it for anything else.
Unsubscribe: every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email feedback@gaijindev.com to be removed or to ask us to delete your address.

Questions or corrections: feedback@gaijindev.com.
